Hi, I'm Peren! I'm a Turkish-American actress, producer, and artist raised in New Jersey.

I believe in leading with kindness and filling our art with empathy to inspire and imagine possibilities beyond our reality. I love supporting new plays, reimagined classic works-- like Shakespeare --and art that centers and unveils how one's culture, one's traditions, and the immigrant experience shape them into the person they are today.

I am also always inspired by artists who use their platform to speak out on humanitarian and social justice issues around the world.

I am currently Artistic Producer at HERO Theatre in Los Angeles, having just closed our world premiere of Luzmi as a producer and actor.

I am proudly an alum of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. I was a part of the 2024 cohort, making my Off-Broadway debut as an actor.

I graduated from USC’s School of Dramatic Arts with a degree in Theatre (Acting Emphasis) and had opportunities to be part of classic, contemporary, and devised works. I found my interest in producing theatre when I was the Artistic Director of Aeneid Theatre Company at USC, a student-run theatre company, for their 2022-2023 season.

I am a lover of Shakespeare, chocolate desserts, full bookshelves, and spotting corgis wherever I go.

Oh, and I hope to be the voice of Fabletics ads one day.
